The Benefits of Justification

When the enemy of our soul seeks to push us into condemnation, we must remember that we have a lawyer that speaks on our behalf. Not only does he speaks on our behalf but He also took to Himself the charge or the sins of us all. We are all guilty of sin and deserve our punishment. Galatians 3: 22 “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe” God knows that we would not be able to experience the glorious beauty of heaven because our sins have already separated us from Him. He chose to do something very powerful that is to justify us. This justification comes through the shed blood of His son Jesus Christ when He took to himself the sins of us all. Hebrews 9: 22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission”

What is remission? Remission is the cancelling of something owed or a debt being cancelled. Colossians 2: 13-14 “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross” The law was there as an ordinance exposing our sins and the punishment that is due to us. Jesus in His precious, perfect love for us, took on himself the sin of us all so we can be justified. Once we acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior our justification then comes through faith believing in Christ finish work. As the scripture above states He quickens us together with Himself, there is an immediate transformation once we accept Him and our sins are forgiven.
