We Are Shaped In The Fire

When we consider life and the many challenges, some times we wonder why and when This happens especially when we are praying about somethings and it takes forever to see an answer or a breakthrough. On the contrary, sometimes we are praying for others and their breakthroughs come even instantly. Some Christians who are not fervent in the things of God often times get their prayers because others are holding them up in prayer. They get joyful results but you don’t, especially when you are praying about situations that will transform your life and lift you higher in God. All there is to see are problems on every side and you just have to use the word of God to console yourself.

Is it not that the Christian life should be about signs and wonders? The Bible tells us “And these signs shall follow them that believe.” We like the Shunamnite woman in 2 Kings 4: 26 when we are asked about our situations we often say it is well!!. This is an act of faith trusting for a move of God even when all seems impossible.

We don’t know the plans of God for us individually that is why we have to encourage one another. He might allow us to go through these situations because He has a set time to do what needs to be done. Isn’t God’s timing the best? He may even want to use these experiences to help us live out some of the scriptures. We just don’t merely read them we live them. I have experienced some, have you? These are fiery trials which are to try us because we are now partakers of Christ’s suffering so that when His glory is revealed we will be glad (1 Peter 4: 12)

No matter what, we have to get back to the Bible. Peter wrote a letter of encouragement that can help us today. 2 Peter 1: 2- 4 “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” Even though we face the trials in them we know Jesus Christ. Through this knowledge of Jesus Christ we don’t just have grace and peace but it is multiplied unto us. Though it might be tough, by His divine power all things are ours as he hath called us unto glory and virtue. These things happen to shape our character. Paul wrote to the church is Rome and encouraged them. Romans 8: 18 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” Should we not just shout it like Paul, “Oh that I night know him!!!”

There are those Christians who will experience sudden miracles even some unsaved can attend a service and they experience a miracle and the prayer warriors struggle for their own breakthroughs, but I hear Jesus said in Matthew 24: 13 “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” Let us keep or eyes on the prize and waiver not.

There are lots of Christians going through struggles. Sometimes we wonder what’s next. Remember God is not dead. The promises of God are ‘yea and amen’. God knows how to sustain us in our trials and He knows how much we can bear. He will come through when we least expect it, so that we can know that it is nor by might or by power but it is by His Spirit. Now be encouraged we are on our training ground. Many who are used of God mightily have gone through processes like these. Let us allow God to do His work in us. It might be painful in the fire but the Potter will make us into His vessel.I trust that this writing will help some one going through their struggles.

    • This Christian journey is like a marathon race. To have victory endurance must be applied. Endurance is what will bring us there. Those that endure to the end shall be saved. This will give us the victory of Revelation 12: 11. We will testify we will rejoice. Yes Bro Alrick the word of God is our fuel to encourage us to continue amidst the different trials ad afflictions.

    • Isaiah 43 speaks well of that to me/ When we go through the water, rivers and fire God is with because the water will not overflow us nor the flames burn us. We shall have victory in our fire and our storms.

  3. Amen. Thanks for sharing this Maurice.🤗
I have felt this way so many times. 😪 Wondering why my prayers get delayed but grateful that each time it feels that way, He is there through the wait and eventually when the answer comes through – it’s just so mind-blowing. God is always true to His word “I am that I am”. 💯
