Making Progress PT.2

Yesterday we have welcomed the new moth of March and we decreed that we are making progress. Today as we proceed I decree that this day will be a great day, a day of new things. Whatever our hands find to do may the Lord bless our portion. May the Lord grant us inspiration and as ideas come to us may we thank Him. May our projects be sanctified and be prepared to bring glory to the Living God. May our unanswered prayers be answers today. May all hindrance to our progress be destroyed.

While making progress it’s important to enhance our every steps with thanksgiving to the Lord. Once we are thanking God it shows our appreciation and this helps to keep our minds on Christ. Isaiah 26: 3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” Our thanksgiving entertains His presence and there we will experience His peace.

Through our pursuit this month, whatever we see as obstacles, whatever the enemy is doing to stop our progress, whatever threat we are facing, remember, God is ready to do His children good. Jehoshaphat the king of Judah was threatened by the Ammonites, Mobites and the inhabitants of Mt. Seir. Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah prayed to the Lord. God then gave a revelation through Jahaziel the son of Zechariah. 1 Chronicles 19: 15-17 “And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. With this prophetic revelation Jehoshaphat and the people bowed themselves to the ground and worshiped God. Jehoshaphat then gave instruction to the people. 1 Chronicles 19: 21 “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. We need to exercise an attitude of praise and worship which will help to defeat our problem as we progress in the Lord this month. The enemy will always seeking ways to get at us that is why the Bible instructs us to put on the whole armor of God

It’s important to listen to God to follow His strategic plans so we can be successful in our daily walk. Here we see what happen to the Ammonites, Mobites and the people of Mt Seir 1 Chronicles 19: 22- 23 “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another” The Lord will fight our battles this Month and we shall have peace and our testimonies. Our tears will be turned into joy. The painful heart will experience their ‘soul renewed’
