The Integrity Of Governance Is An Armor For Victory
If the governance of our nations model a high degree of integrity then these nations will experience less of the crime, violence and poverty. Crime rates are higher when leaders lack integrity and are not leading by example. Some leaders are entangled in criminal network which strengthens the evil they themselves speak against. In the book of Isaiah 1: 23 (kjv) “Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.” We are often mistreated by those in leadership because they have mismanaged that which should be distributed equally. This also cause an up rise in violence. Many groups across the world are coming to the forefront. They are resisting the injustice caused by the lacking in integrity of our leaders.
If political agendas could be balanced with integrity we would have a more stabled society. True integrity comes when we allow our conscience to be their guided by the Spirit of the Living God. When there is no submission to God people will do just about anything. A good leader being guided by the Holy Spirit will certainly establish a great nation and even the spirit of poverty will be eliminated. If our leaders could understand that their integrity is an armor for victory them some may be bold enough to rise up and take a stand. Once they seek to operate in their integrity the label of selfishness and greed will begin to be erased from their character.
Preserved By Integrity For Victory
David a man though not perfect was called a man after God’s own heart. He displayed good character and operated in the power of integrity. He had the upper had to destroy his enemy but he refused to take matters in his hand. In Psalm 25: 21 “Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee” David saw how God was working on his behalf. He had escaped death many times and he knew it was the presence of God that was with him. David knew that if he want to maintain divine protection he must walk in the integrity of the law. He also knew that God is better able to help him to operate in his integrity. He asked God to preserve him as he wait on God’s deliverance. .
David also expressed himself throughout Psalm 26, he asked God to judge him and to examine him. All this because he had walked in integrity. Having good integrity builds our confidences. The christian life should be one of great integrity. This will become our armor to subdue the enemy of our soul. Jesus Christ said in John 14: 30 (kjv) “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. When we are armored by our integrity the devil will have nothing to use against us. Let us seek to be armored by our integrity, it will preserve us from all the attack of the devil
