The trials of life, the pain we are going through and the things we do as much as we possible can to make things right, but many things seems to remain the same. Life is like a puzzle with many pieces We try to arrange the pieces and then it get more complicated. We may try a business and it wasn’t God’s plan or timing and this could create setback or delay on something else that we should have been doing. The Bible has given a formula stating the we should seek God first and all the things we need or desire would follow.

If we allow God to arrange the puzzle pieces of our life then we would start to see why He allow us to do somethings and why somethings never work. This can be a hard pill to swallow especially when we understand the benefits in what we want to do. My mother would tell me “God is perfecting everything” This was a hard thing to hear at the time when I need results now. To obey God we have to operate in the fruit of the spirit call patience and allow Him to order our steps.

Our lives start in the plan and will of God, that is why when we are manifested in the womb through pregnancy the devil launches attack. Some of us escape somethings and when we are born we face afflictions and trials. The Bible tells us about a man who was lamed from his mothers womb Acts 3: 2 “And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple” There was also another man who was crippled from his mothers womb in Acts 14: 8 “And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked” In both cases the destiny of these men were under attack and the puzzle pieces of their lives need to be rearranged. Only God who can arrange the puzzle pieces of our lives. By His glorious power He used Peter and John at at the temple gate called Beautiful to heal the man. That day he got his problem solved, the puzzle pieces of the question ‘why this have to happen to me’ solved The man at Lystra was also at the right place at the right time where not only that the word was preached but God worked through Paul with signs and wonders following the word. The preaching of the word caused the man’s faith to increase and Paul was able to perceive that the man “had faith to be healed” Paul spoke to him loudly to stand upright and the crippled leaped and walked. This was faith in action the man gave no room for doubt.

When God is speaking to our lamed and crippling situations and our faith begin to rise there we must follow through because He is arranging the puzzle pieces of our lives.

Our lives can be marred by wrong choices and God is determined to deliver us because He had seen the plans and works of the enemy. God had already mapped out our destiny but we get tired of our setbacks and failure and seek the Lord and allow Him to take full control of our lives and put the pieces in order then we will see the beauty He has bestowed upon us.

Some pieces of the puzzle are broken, torn apart by diverse circumstances Let us allow God to take control and put the puzzle pieces together. Just like the potter putting the broken pieces of the clay together so does Christ mend the torn puzzle pieces and rearrange our lives.

  1. Amen. This is a beautiful post, Maurice. God is able to put the puzzle pieces of our lives back together. After all He created us so He knows exactly where the right piece should fit.

I love your mother’s advice – God is perfecting it. I need to hear this sound advice today. I need to be encouraged that God is even at this moment carefully sorting out the pieces of my problems to make things right. Thank you and have a restful night.

    • Thank you Beverley only God have the knowledge to fit the pieces in the right places.
That advice from my mother was hard to bear at the time but i grow to see how well it works. I was reading Psalm 119: 57- 104 yesterday evening and it was a delight. Please read and penetrate the words and speak them in your life while reading it. God have a plan for you even through the afflictions and stubborn trials. He is faithful to you.

      • Thank you Maurice. I certainly will read the passage of scripture right now. All day today your mother’s words keep resonating in my mind – God is perfecting it. I even shared it with my son who is going through some trials of his own. I hope you will write a post with that title. God bless you.
