As humans we are known by the character we display. Many people are also good at hiding who they really are. One common saying among my friends I is that “life is spiritual” A true impression about an individual can be suppressed temporary but with time the true manifestation will be displayed. The Holy Ghost will also give discernment in revealing the hidden things. As Christians we must display the word of God in our daily living. Doing this will enhance our integrity because the word of will guide us in holy living.
The Christian’s life should be one of high integrity. Our words should be our bond. God is a God at His word. In fact God honor His word above His name. We are His children so our words should express who we are and there should be no room for pretense. Through our integrity we can effect changes in society. Through our integrity we can be trusted and respected. Through our integrity God will fight our battles. Through our integrity the devil cannot have an upper hand. Remember Jesus said in John 14: 30 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” The devil couldn’t find anything to accuse Jesus Christ of. This is why God wants us to live a life of holiness. David prayed and asked God in Psalms 25: 21 “let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait on thee” There may be struggles of life, but it is very important to hold to our integrity. Our integrity will keep us from bondage. The moment we might decide to subject to the trap of the enemy, it could be just at the time of our breakthrough and we lose a blessing from the Lord and accept the accursed things from the enemy. Through our integrity our purposes in life can be discovered because we block the enemy from setting us back. Our integrity proves our strength and maturity in God.
